Calas de Mallorca

A stunning resort town that incorporates three spectacular beaches is an ideal spot for a family break during soothing cruises through the Balearics. Situated on a scenic hilltop in the Manacor area overlooking the turquoise seas, this complex boasts a lively atmosphere that has something to offer for visitors of all ages.

For a striking landscape where cliffs adorned with green trees embrace an oasis of white sand that sparkles like a true jewel, head to Cala Antena. Although it's quite crowded during the high season, you'll enjoy privacy from your charter yacht. The water is so clear that you'll be able to see the lush aquatic life without needing to swim. If you decide to go ashore, you'll find a charming beach bar where you can order a refreshing cocktail to enjoy between dips in the glittery sea.

Cala Domingos Gran is said to be one of the most beautiful Mallorcan beaches, and boasts a family-friendly atmosphere flocked by tourists since the 60s. It carries a blue flag, the European standard for cleanliness, and facilities to satisfy the needs of young parents.

Just over the headlands, you’ll find the Cala Domingos Petit, flaunting fine sugar cane sand and mint colored sea. It might be better for little ones than its larger counterpart, mainly due to size and weaker currents.

The complex of Calas de Mallorca is well organized and has many bustling shops, bars and cafes, offering numerous easy-going activities to fill your day. If you’re keen on golfing, try taming the 19th hole at a verdant golf course, and then relish on a breathtaking meal at Steak House Pizzeria Venecia.

If you’re interested to explore more interesting spots nearby, make time to visit the historic city of Manacor, famous for being the pearl industry capital of the island. The birth town of the tennis legend Raphael Nadal boasts a fantastic tennis court where you can practice your backhand, as well as a 29 km route known as Via Verde. This scenic road is a paradise for hikers and cyclists, who come here for recreation in a picturesque setting.

The Sunday market in the nearby town of Felanitx is regarded as the best in Mallorca and is definitely worth a trip as well - Cala De Mallorca is not only gorgeous, but also serves an excellent base to visit the surrounding areas as well.
